Camping Turismar is located in a quiet area on the Costa Brava, just 2 km from the beach in Tossa de Mar. We are also just a 15-minute walk from the town centre.
At Camping Turismar we offer various accommodation options to suit all tastes: fully equipped bungalows, Lux-Tend for a luxury camping experience, spacious plots for those who prefer camping, and cosy and private cabins for a more comfortable stay.
Yes, at Camping Turismar we are pet-friendly. Pets are welcome in designated areas and in some of our accommodations. We ask that you respect the rules for cohabitation.
Camping Turismar has a snack-bar, a games room, laundry service, among other services, so you can enjoy a complete experience.
Check-in is from 16:00 to 23:00 and check-out from 08:00 to 11:00. If you need to check in outside of these hours, you can request this when booking, but we cannot guarantee it. If it is essential for your travel, check the cancellation options before booking.
At our campsite, we share the space with the local wildlife, including wild boars and their young. These animals naturally inhabit the pine forest surrounding the campsite and are an integral part of the area's ecosystem.
Although they may appear imposing, wild boars do not usually exhibit aggressive behavior towards people. They typically only search for food and avoid contact with visitors. Their presence is an indicator of the richness and good condition of the natural environment.
To minimize the possibility of encounters, it is essential to avoid leaving food scraps or food within reach of animals and to follow the campsite's safety recommendations at all times.
What should you do if you see a wild boar or a female with her young?
- Do not offer them food or leave food or waste outside.
- Keep a safe distance and observe them without getting closer.
- Stay calm and avoid any sudden movements that might frighten them.
- Do not try to touch them, chase them, or take photographs from too close.
- If the animal is in your path, wait for it to continue on its way or slowly back away without running.
- If any wild boar remains near your pitch or accommodation and does not move away, please contact reception. Our staff will come to help remove it safely from the area.
